The B&D Post-Graduate Fellowship
Spend your first year out of law school inside real personal injury litigation. Work next to experienced trial attorneys on complex and catastrophic injury cases, and see a case all the way through, from the first filing to trial and even appeal.
Learn by Doing, Not by Watching From a Desk
Fellows are part of the litigation team from day one. You won't just read about how a personal injury case is built. You'll be in the room while it happens.
Go to Court
Attend hearings and see how our attorneys argue motions and handle the court on real cases.
Sit In on Depositions
Watch how testimony is taken and defended, and learn how it shapes a case.
See Trials and Mediations
Be there for the moments that decide cases, in the courtroom and at the mediation table.
Train From Start to Finish
Learn every part of personal injury litigation, from the start of a case through trial and even appeals.
Work on Serious Cases
Work closely with experienced litigation attorneys on a wide range of complex and catastrophic injury cases.

Who We're Looking For
We want graduates who can't wait to get into the fight for injured people.
- Excellent oral communication skills. This one is required.
- Moot court or mock trial experience. A plus, but not required.
- Creativity. You look for the angle other people miss.
- Eagerness to take on responsibility. You want real work, not busywork.
- Commitment. You want to work with people who are as committed as you are and get just as fired up when a client wins.
What Comes After Year One
The Fellowship lasts one year. After that, depending on the firm's hiring needs, a fellowship may be extended, or a fellow may be asked to join the firm as an associate.
Either way, you leave with a year of real personal injury litigation experience on your resume.
How to Apply
It takes a few minutes. Applications go straight to our hiring inbox, not to our client intake team.
