Susan earned her law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 2019. Prior to her legal education, she studied History and Ethnic Studies at the University of California, San Diego.
During law school, Susan externed for the Honorable Judge Robert N. Kwan for the United States District Court, Central District of California. She upheld civil rights through her internships with the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Schonbrun, Seplow, Harris, and Hoffman LLP, and Kids In Need of Defense (KIND). Susan was also a dedicated member of Loyola's Hispanic National Bar Association Uvaldo Herrera Moot Court team helping her team place in the top eight teams nationwide.
As a clinical student of the Loyola International Human Rights Clinic, Susan advocated for survivors of domestic violence. She was also a board member of Loyola's Public Interest Law Foundation for two years.
Currently, Susan is a member of Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and the Mexican American Bar Association.
