Eva Kobi has been an associate with B&D Injury Law Group since 2019. Eva attended the University of California San Diego where she earned her Bachelor of Political Science with a minor in Law and Society. After earning her bachelor’s degree, Eva began her legal career as a Law Intern for Schimmel & Parks, APLC. Additionally, Eva made time to volunteer for Chatsworth Superior Court, assisting in the small claims and evictions department.
Eva continued her legal education and graduated from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, San Diego, receiving her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree. While in law school, Eva was involved in the Small Claims Clinic, President of the Middle Eastern Law Student Association, and on the executive board of the Jewish Student Union. Eva was also the liaison for the Iranian American Bar Association (IABA) and today is an active member of the California Bar Association.
Eva has gained experience on all sides of the law having worked for a plaintiff’s firm, defense counsel, and mediation. Eva worked as a paralegal for defense counsel at Nationwide Insurance. She has also gained substantial amounts of experience mediating matters at the San Diego Superior Court, small claims department. Throughout Eva’s legal work, she has developed skills in legal research, litigation, negotiation, mediation, and deposing through her experience in communicating with plaintiffs, defendants, experts, doctors, and insurance providers.
